According to a recent report by international information technology research company, Gartner Research, global spending for CRM solutions will grow to be a $36.5 billion market by 2017, a compound annual growth rate of 15.1% between 2012 and 2017. That is 77% higher than a Gartner forecast earlier this year of a $20.6 billion market by 2017.

So what does that mean for responsible executives and IT managers here in Southeast Asia?

It means the value of investing in CRM is being increasingly recognized as having the “potential” to generate significant business improvements and profit returns.
